Last weekend Blair and I took Harper to see my parents and the "little kids" in Colorado. Harper was so good on all of our flights. This time we had a couple lay overs, but it ended up not being that big of a deal. We arrived in Pueblo Wednesday evening early enough to drop in on Mary Grace's tap class. Blair and I used to love dance so much, so it's fun to see Mary Grace following in our footsteps:) One thing I hate about living so far away from my siblings is missing all of their sporting events and recitals:(

Thursday morning, my Mom surprised me with a massage for my birthday! It was so nice and relaxing! While I was getting a massage, Chris was having knee surgery:( Everything went well and I think he was feeling okay by the end of the weekend. We just hung out at the house all day Thursday so we cold keep an eye on Chris.
Visiting with Grandpa while he was "laid up."
The rest of the weekend was filled with some relaxing, a little bit of shopping, a lot of laughing and too much eating. My Mom made a delicious homemade lasagna for dinner on my birthday that I couldn't get enough of. On Saturday, we took Harper down to the football field for pictures. We tried to get her to pose with a football and were semi-successful. You can see the results on Mom's facebook. That night we grilled out for a little birthday celebration for Chris. His birthday was yesterday. Happy Birthday Chris! We gave him a lounge chair for the back patio. It seemed pretty comfy, so hopefully he will find some time to relax in it. He was already back at work when I talked to him yesterday:( Oh and my family got me sewing supplies and a gift card for a machine for my birthday! I'm a little intimidated, but more excited about this whole sewing thing. I brought home several dresses that my Mom made me when I was little. They are so sweet! I hope I can make some sweet things for Harper.

Haha!
Sunday was a long day. I was able to sleep in til 10 o'clock (Thanks Mom!). Harper got her first bath in the kitchen sink (So cute!). Then we just packed and headed to airport. We got back in Austin around 10:30 and were all so exhausted. I recuperated yesterday by spending most of the day on the couch and watching "Morning Glory." It was a pretty good movie:) Here are a few more pictures from the trip.

So sweet!
We tried to get one of the whole fam! Even Bo got in:)
A little more playtime with Grandpa before we left. And finally a sweet smile!
So gorgeous!
I love spending time with my family and really want them to be able to see Harper as she grows up. Right now, she is changing and growing so quickly! I'm so glad we were able to go visit for a little bit. I can't wait until June when we are all reunited again!
Jess, she is so beautiful!! That pic of her with the football puts into perspective how little she is! I wish she would stay that little forever!! So sweet. Glad you had a fun birthday and I'm so excited you're going to start sewing! Take a class - it helps so much and helps you from getting stuck and frustrated because there is someone to ask who actually knows what they're doing ;)! Can't wait to see what you make! Are you still coming to Birmingham this summer? You bettter :)! Tell Kyle & Blair to come too!
