Happy 2nd Birthday Harper!

Our little one is TWO years old!  

It happened October 29th, but she has been keeping me so busy that I haven't been able to blog about it.  Two is a lot of fun.  We've had some previews of the terrible twos, but since she got lots of new toys for her birthday, Harper has been playing well and staying out of trouble:)

This year, we had Harper's party at one of our favorite bouncy houses.  It's not a huge place and has a lot of inflatables that are perfect for little ones.  Since, our party goers were between the ages of one and four, it worked out pretty well.  

Harper's party theme this year was "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" after her all-time favorite book! 

Messy cupcakes!  The icing wasn't cooperating with the Texas heat, but they were still tasty!

I guess the previous party was Barbie.

Trying to get a picture of 10 kids together was impossible, but we got most of them.

All the kids actually sat down to eat cupcakes.

Not sure what these two are doing, but they just crack each other up!

Did I mention Blair (AKA "Fuff Fuff") and Hunter came down for the festivities?  We loved having them here so much and Harper has not stopped talking about them since they left!

It seemed like all the kids had fun and were pretty tuckered out by the end of the party, so all-in-all, it was a success!

Harper's two year check-up went pretty well also.  She's still in the 10th percentile at 23 and 1/2 lbs.  And she is only in the 25th percentile for her height.  I always think she's so tall, but she's actually pretty petite.  We had her check-up on Halloween and the doctor's office was so nice to let us skip our shots and come back the next day.  We didn't want anything ruining our first experience trick-or-treating:)

This always keeps her busy at the doctor's, so we have one at home now.

I couldn't find one of these for the house, but I'm still looking:)

All ready for her check-up!  

"Cat Leigh" has to be with her at all times now.
