Harper's 1/2 Birthday

Harper turned 6 months old on the 29th of last month!  I am enjoying watching her grow so much!  She is really starting to show some personality.  She has recently starting "rocking" on her hands and knees, so we might be mobile soon.  She is definitely "creeping" a little and got herself stuck under her new favorite toy the other day.

She is also doing well with solids and seems to love squash and green beans, just like her Mom:)  How quickly she is growing and changing is kind of bittersweet, but I guess I knew she wouldn't stay little forever.  We didn't do anything fun on her 1/2 birthday, but I have been trying to take a picture on the exact day for my records.

On Sunday, we went down to New Braunfels, TX to spend some time with Kyle's side of the family.  His grandfather and his FIVE BROTHERS were spending the weekend at a resort there.  They get together every year.  Every even year, they are joined by their families, and every odd year, just the brothers get together.  Since they were staying so close to us, and since I had never met Kyle's Grandfather, we went down to visit for the day.  The brothers were all so sweet with us and with one another.  The guys played ping pong, pool, had a putting competition and we all enjoyed a nice lunch.

Our doctor has been on vacation, so we have Harper's six month check-up tomorrow.  I'll post some stats then!
