My Dad has been in town since Wednesday. He's here to do some recruiting around Austin, but he's been staying with us. It's been so nice to have him all to ourselves (before and after work:)) for a while! He's actually in San Antonio for a couple of days right now, but will be stopping back through before flying home on Wednesday. We love having him around!
Harper thinks Pops is so much fun.
He's been swinging her around like this all week and today I took both of her hands and she immediately started dragging her feet for me to swing her!
These pictures were taken at County Line. We, of course, had to go eat there since it's always delicious and the portions are huge. Win, win for Chris!
County Line has a great back porch, so I tried to get a few pictures of Harper, but as soon as I point the camera at her she runs in the other direction.
I have so many pictures of her like this!
This isn't a great one, but at least she's looking at the camera!
Little social butterfly:)
Miss Independent does not want to hold my hands and walk anymore!
Even when she's coming toward the camera, she refuses to look!
Trying to get a picture with Daddy.
All of theses pictures are taken with my new camera. I really like it, but I'm pretty disappointed with my photography skills. I think I just need to play with it a little more. One great thing about my new camera is that I don't feel like I need an excuse to take pictures. I've been snapping a few everyday just because.
One bad thing about it is that (maybe because of the higher resolution of my pictures?) it takes forever to upload the picture to blogger, so I'm not sure how many you guys will get to see:(
As you can probably tell, the weather has been so nice around here lately. We've been playing outside quite a bit and going for long walks. Harper has been so good in the stroller lately but she would rather me push her all over the neighborhood in her cozy coupe:)
I think the nice weather is over for a while. It was gloomy and cold today:(
Please feel free to share any photography tips! Hope everyone has a great week!

I love the picture of Harper swinging between Chris's legs!! She's so happy!!
ReplyDeleteHere is a post that I wrote last March after I got my new camera. It is what I learned from my photography classes but mostly from my Mom who is an excellent photographer. It is tips for shooting in manual mode which is always better than auto once you figure it out! Also, I like the "guide" mode on my camera if I am in a hurry and can't figure out the manual settings. It gives you options like blurry background, low light, etc! This stuff if hard though and I am NO expert.
