We had a great month of April. Blair moved to TN the first weekend in May, so we tried to cram some fun stuff in before she left. One day, we took Harper and the boys, Luke and Beau, to ride the train around our big park/trail downtown.
It's hard to get three kids to look at you when you're trying to take their picture!
Ready to go!
The "big kids" in front of us.
We couldn't take a 25 minute train ride without breaking into the snacks:)
Later that week, Harper had her first Easter Egg Hunt. She did such a good job. She collected so many eggs that I had to throw them out as she was putting them in so there would be plenty for the other kids:)
Cheese!
On the prowl.
Some action shots.
I promise she has fun:)
After the Easter Egg Hunt, Blair, Hunter, Harper and I went to The Salt Lick. It's a pretty famous barbecue place just outside of Austin. You may have seen it on Top Chef. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. There was a playground area where we could wait, so Harper did a little bit of swinging.
Then she did a little bit of dancing, while we waited some more.
We stayed out way past her bedtime, but she was a pretty good sport. The wait was long, but the food was fast and good. We had an extremely laid back Easter the next day. We took a long walk, made and ate a large feast and then I went to work. Oh yeah, and we ate way too much Easter candy!
Okay, update on the rest of April tomorrow, maybe:)
