Due to my work schedule, our Easter Sunday was pretty uneventful. Fortunately, we were invited to the Governor's Mansion for an Easter Egg Hunt last week, so Harper was able to dress up in her Easter dress and hunt for some eggs!
Governor Perry greeted us as we walked in. He was so nice!
Blair was in town for the week, so she went with us.
(We've been blessed with several visitors over the past couple months and I plan on doing a post on all of them soon.)
Governor Perry told her she should move back to TX and I agree!
After a little tour of the house (it was recently restored after a fire several years ago), we headed out back for cookies, ice cream and a visit with the Easter Bunny.
The Easter bunny was a little too scary for Harper, so her Daddy joined in the picture:)
There was a Bunny making animal balloons too. She made Harper her favorite animal, an elephant! Harper carried it around by the trunk. Not sure she quite got what it was:)
Ready for the Easter Egg Hunt!
Of course, not one single picture of her looking at me:(
Thanks to her Daddy, Harper picked up a winning egg, and was given a book signed by Rick and Anita Perry.
We missed naptime, so we couldn't get Harper's thumb out of her mouth for pictures.
She loves her Fuff-fuff!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
