Charlie turned four months old way back in September! At his check-up he weighed 15lbs, 5oz and was 26 inches long. I think that was the 60th and 95th percentile. A lot happened before and a lot has happened since, and one day I'll get caught up! Maybe:)
In the meantime, here are some four month highlights:
This is at his doctor's appointment for a quick check-up on his kidneys. No improvement, but they are not any worse either, which is great news. He does not have to go back for another ultrasound until March. We're still hoping that everything will just resolve on its own and we are so grateful that Charlie hasn't experienced any complications from his hydronephrosis!
Our biggest obstacle with Charlie has been his sleep. He started out strong, but at about 12 weeks, he hit a growth spurt, which had him up every 2 hours and his sleep has never been the same. I also went back to work, with I think disturbed his routine a bit. Finally, at 5 months, Charlie starting giving us a 6 - 7 hour stretch of sleep! We're figuring things out now that we're at the 7 month mark, but we're still trying to catch up on all the sleep we missed during months 3 to 5. And, we're still working on naps, but getting better there too (fingers crossed)!
With 5 months came another milestone, Charlie rolled over from his back to his stomach all by himself! After he did it once, he started rolling himself all over the place!
Charlie at 5 months:
Be back with a six month and third birthday update!
And maybe even more!
