I Should Be Packing

Tomorrow we're leaving to go to Nashville for a week.  I really should be packing/cleaning/writing out Father's Day cards, but I keep getting distracted by the little girl that will not stay away from the blu-ray player!  If she's not pushing all the buttons, she's trying to pull herself up on the TV stand and crying out of frustration because she still needs a little help.  Maybe I'm procrastinating because thinking about taking a 7 month old on a 13 hour car ride is about to give me a panic attack!  Say a little prayer for Blair and me, we're leaving EARLY in the morning, so hopefully we'll make it there by tomorrow night:)  Sadly, we're leaving Kyle at home.  He has to work.  Unfortunately, he won't be able to spend his first Father's Day with Harper:(  I really wish we didn't have to leave him here, but we are going to celebrate my Grandparent's 50th anniversary!  My whole family will be in town and I'm going to take a little detour down to Birmingham to see Emily and Eleanor while I'm on that side of the country.  I wouldn't hate it if little Annie decided to come a month early, but I'm sure Eleanor would disagree, or maybe not:)

Harper has started mimicking sounds.  She can, kind of, wave and say "bye, bye."  It's so much fun!  She also mimics Moose scratching his back on the floor, it's pretty funny:)

Here are just a few pics from the last couple of weeks.

She liked the pool a lot more this time:)

This little beaver is the Town Lake mascot:)  I saw him while I was walking with a friend last week.  Some of the kids were feeding him and he was getting so close to them!  I'm not sure I would trust that little rodent so close to my child, but he sure was cute!

She loves to pull herself up on this toy, but it doesn't always stay put:(

We enjoyed a rare Saturday afternoon out last weekend.  We had lunch at a restaurant on the lake and then went to Berry Austin for some yogurt.  Harper loved the yogurt, but I regretted letting her have so much when she was wide awake from 2 to 5 AM the next morning.  No more sugar for her!

We've had a couple play dates the last week, so I'll try to post pictures from those after we get home.  See some of y'all soon!
