Girls Trip to Nashville

Wow, no blog post for over 2 months!  I'd like to say it's because we've been so busy, but really, it's just because I've been lazy:)
In August, Kyle and some his college friends planned a guys' trip to FL for the weekend, so Harper and I took the opportunity have a girls' trip in Nashville.  As always, it was a whirlwind of a trip.  We got into town on Wednesday.  It had been so long since Harper had seen her cousins, so we had dinner with Adam, Lisa, Blair, Hunter and all the kids.  Hunter's Mom was so sweet to have all of us over and Blair made some delicious manicotti.  The kids had a great time playing in the pool and the adults had a great time catching up.
Cousins!

Haha!  I guess Harper wanted a drink!

So sassy!

On Thursday morning, Harper, Ashton and I went to the Nashville zoo with Sarah and Emma Kate.  We had such a great time at the zoo.  I'm not sure Harper knew exactly what she was looking for in some of the exhibits, but she loved spending time with Ashton and EK.

There's a monkey swinging somewhere in the background!

Trying to give Emma Kate a hug!

Little Diva:)

Love this picture of her!

On Thursday night, I met one of my friends, Erin, along with her boyfriend and his little girl for dinner. It was so great to catch up with her!

Friday morning, we went out to my Mamaw's house.  Adam, Lisa, me, Harper and Matt all went.  Mamaw fixed us a delicious lunch.  I always love her cooking.  It takes me back:)  We had a great time and then headed home for naps.
We were sad Blair couldn't got with us!

Friday night, Blair, Harper, Mia and myself had dinner with my Grandparents at our favorite, Las Palmas.  Then we had a sleep over with Mia.
Playing with her Great-Granddaddy.

Rare pic of a big smile!

Sharing Mia's lollipop.

The next morning we were up early to get Blair off to some bachelorette festivities and then picked up some donuts for us.  We went over to Adam and Lisa's for a while, but Harper was so tired, so we came back and slept a lot:)  Later that day, we met back up with everyone out at my Aunt and Uncle's house.  We spent the night eating, laughing and skyping with my cousin at the Coast Guard Academy!

Harper kept calling Lisa "Mommy."  I was so confused at first.  But, she pointed to me when I asked who "Momma" was and Lisa when I said "Mommy."  It was pretty funny!

(Harper was not in those pajamas all day, just for the record:))

Sunday, Blair, Harper, Hunter and I did a little bit of shopping and had lunch.
Afterward, we went to Adam and Lisa's to hang out.  Lisa made some really delicious chili!  The kids had a great time playing together outside, but I think us big kids should leave the tumbling to the little ones, because we were all sore the next day:)

Cousin street gang.

Finally warming up to Adam:)

I was looking rough by the end of this trip, but Harper looks so cute holding onto Mia's shoulder!

Most photogenic.

Monday morning, Blair and I met up with Sarah and her Mom for an early lunch, before we had to head to the airport.  Harper and I were so sad to leave!  It was so great to see everyone and we had a great time.  But, we were really tired, so it was nice to get back to our own beds:)  Oh yeah, and a helpful husband.  Now that we're entering into the terrible twos, I don't think that I will be traveling without him:)

Thanks for all the hospitality, Blair, and to everyone else for feeding us and carting us around everywhere!
